I'm newbie for rsync and sorry if this questions are already posted in this
list.
1) I don't have the root privilage for two unix machines and I wanna mirror 2GB
of sources between them
through very slow internet link.
Whether I need to start rsync server or call rsync directly. Which one is
faster? If I have to start rsync server, then in which machine I have to start
and without having root access.
If i have to run rsync directly, ie rsync [loacaldir] [remote m/c:remotedir],
what are the options I have to
use for faster transfer.
2) Assume that the internet link is down inbetween, how can i setup rsync, so
that it will automatically resume once the link is up.
