I'm rsyncing from an NT box, with the NT machine running rsync in daemon mode.
I notice it consumes a good chunk of processing power whenever the client make
a request to sync. My question is: Is it possible to set this up so that most
of the processing power comes off another machine, instead of the one the files
are coming from? Does the machine sending the files have to be the one that
runs the rsync daemon, or can it run the client? Which uses more cpu - rsync
as client or rsync in daemon mode?
