For what it is worth, I've had significant trouble syncing NetBSD, especially
the past few weeks, due to apparently very limited bandwidth/network
conditions.
I sync to ftp.sourceforge.net once daily. (try to, anyway)
I've admittedly never synced a cvs tree over rsh, although I do successfully
sync to cvs-mirror.mozilla.org (tokyojoe.sourceforge.net) over pserver
without incident on a running/live cvs tree.
Any chance this is simply network conditions?
