I'm trying to imagine how that would be useful because one of the things that the options do is to control how the destination hierarchy is populated, and there's only one destination hierarchy. About the only useful combination I can come up with would be using --compare-dest for the first arg, indicating that you want a sparse destination, and then link-dest for the rest of the args, indicating that you want to try to hard-link changed files to prior versions when a change occurs. Do you have any other combination of options in mind?
For one, I think any combination of --copy-dest and --link-dest makes sense, because you might have lots of directories with old files that might as well be used to speed the transfer and it might be acceptable to hard-link unchanged files from some of those directories but not others.
