My RPM will probably work fine on CentOS, as it is based on the Fedora packaging and Fedora is similar to CentOS. If you want a pure CentOS package, you or I could rebuild the SRPM at http://mirror.centos.org/centos/5.0/os/SRPMS/rsync-2.6.8-3.1.src.rpm .
