Nope. Use "man rsyncd.conf" or read the manpage on-line (it's linked on
the front page of the rsync website):

This change was also announced in a security advisory and is on the
security page of the website.
So, if you don't need that safety feature enabled for your situation,
set "munge symlinks = no" in your daemon config file.
