Cool. Does (Open)BSD compile and run out-of-the-box or do you need any patches? If so, please consider forwarding them upstream for review and inclusion. It would also be nice, if an (Open)BSD expert could take a look at the atomic operations configure check [1]. Apparently that one fails on FreeBSD (dunno about OpenBSD).
