The disk based queue is IMHO the best feature. I use the database plug-in as well but common users may not use that feature as much. It's simple replacement for the stock syslogd and extended timestamp are useful as well.

It shall be an overview over rsyslog. I would like to highlight some features. So which ones do you think are most important for *ordinary* users? Feedback is most welcome and my deadline is tight (as usual ;)). I think this is an excellent opportunity to present rsyslog to a wider audience, one that that should be done as well as possible ;) Rainer _______________________________________________ rsyslog mailing list http://lists.adiscon.net/mailman/listinfo/rsyslog http://www.rsyslog.com Confidentiality Notice: This e-mail message (including any attached or embedded documents) is intended for the exclusive and confidential use of the individual or entity to which this message is addressed, and unless otherwise expressly indicated, is confidential and privileged information of Rackspace.
