Hi David,

I know this place and I know Tina, who builds it, quite well. She
started collecting a couple of years ago and there were very, very few
contributions. One of the primary show stoppers, as I understand it, was
that for the purposes stated by loganalysis.org, they needed somewhat
bigger logs. I really need only single log entries, as I do not want to
analyze them but parse the header. Thus I wanted to give it a new shot
and see if I can get more sample for this very limited use case.

Plus, I have to admit, loganalysis.org is now owned by splunk and while
I like them, I prefer not to stick with something that I cannot control
for things that are quite relevant for the work I do. But that is only a
secondary reason.

Rainer
