I've configured syslog forwarding via RELP, and it's mostly working
properly. The only problem is that DNS resolution doesn't seem to be
enabled for the '$fromhost' property, if the log message is coming
from a remote machine via RELP. If the log destination is local, it
works fine: $fromhost resolves to the simple (no FQDN) hostname, as
does $hostname. But if the log destination is a remote machine via
RELP, I '$fromhost' doesn't resolves to a hostname, it's always an IP
address.

I found a similar issue on the forum, here:

 * http://kb.monitorware.com/reverse-dns-resolution-why-t10040.html

Like that poster, my forward and reverse DNS lookups work just fine,
on all of the hosts involved.

Is this a known limitation of RELP, or remote destinations in general,
or should I file a bug report?
