Hi, RHEL 5.5 was released recently and it includes updated rsyslog version too.
As many of you may know, up to RHEL 5.4 there was rsyslog version 2.0.6 which is rather old and unsupported. But changes have been made in RHEL 5 update 5: it includes package rsyslog (+ rsyslog-[module_name], see below) version 3.22.1. But there is yet another rsyslog version - package rsyslog4 (+ rsyslog4-[module_name]) serves version 4.4.2! Modules included in separated rpms: gnutls gssapi mysql pgsql relp (just for rsyslog4 package) Well, these are not the latest ones, but it is progredss indeed :-) .
