Dears: I have a little question I hope you can help me
I am using rsyslog in a central logging system for my company. rsyslog is installed on various machine and send their logs via RELP to a central server. The central server stores the logs into a mysql DB. In the DB I can identify which record belongs to a specific machine using the FromHost column. My question: Is there a way to configure rsyslog on the client machine to send their logs with a specific host name and get that name stored in the FromHost column in the DB ?
