Hi all, especially to those interested in liblognorm: it looks like I already orphaned the project. This is a false impression ;) I'd like to utilize as many standard parts as possible, and thus I am looking very seriously into CEE and libee. Right now, I anticipate that around 80% to 90% of what liblognorm intends to do will actually be done by libee. Consequently, I am currently very actively working on libee. So if you are interested in liblognorm, you'd probably want to have a look at libee as well.
Git: http://git.adiscon.com Web: http://www.libee.org As a side-note I am also implementing a new small string library ( http://doc.libestr.adiscon.com ). This new library may in the long term replace rsyslog's internal string handling, from which it is derived. I'll probably experiment with it in v6. If I am not mistaken, the new lib can provide some performance benefits. But this needs to be weighted.
