I have a problem with EscapeControlCharactersOnRecieve being on. When it's on (which it is by default) I get a control character \012 at the end of the lines, which I don't want. When it's off, I get a line that just has ';'. I don't want \012 and I don't want ';' clogging up my log files. syslog doesn't seem to have this problem. I am using rsyslog-3.22.1, part of RedHat Linux.
