this parser is designed to accept snare messages and turn them into
messages that can be more easily digested by rsyslog.
it looks for messages in either the raw snare format
hostname<tab>tag<tab>otherstuff
and change it to
hostname tag otherstuff
this then has the <pri> and timestamp set by the normal parser
or in the 'syslog' format
<pri>date hostname tag<tab>otherstuff
and change it to
<pri>date hostname tag otherstuff
I currently have it support two tags, MSWinEventLog and LinuxKAudit, I am
looking to find all the tags that snare agents generate to add them in.
this is working for me, but I would like to see others test it as well.
