I'm confused by this new addition in 5.10.0. I get this message in response to the following line:
Oct 5 19:43:07 sj2-noc01 rsyslogd-2184: action '*' treated as ':omusrmsg:*' - please change syntax, '*' will not be supported in the future [try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2184 ] Oct 5 19:43:07 sj2-noc01 rsyslogd: the last warning occured in /etc/rsyslog.conf, line 62:"*.emerg *" # Everybody gets emergency messages *.emerg * This really is plain jane normal syslog standard lines. What confuses me is that it doesn't complain about *.warn just a few lines later. Also, why do we keep getting error messages that include urls that just give us errors?
