thanks a lot David, the RSYSLOG_FileFormat looks like this: 2013-05-11T09:49:32.702034+02:00
which is little bit more information that I am interested in. Is there no predefined time in the "long-iso" format ? 2013-05-11 09:58:20 Is the only way to define my own template, such as $template long-iso,"%$NOW% %timereported:8:15% %programname%.%syslogseverity-text%: %msg:R:[^ ][^ ]*.*$--end%\n" The problem with my own template is that I have to use regular expressions and complicated syntax to get something which I think should be standard.
