Sorry the 1st post is already nagging, but I've assembled quite a few syslogs but this time I went for an more "hardcore" install with less and less packages. Rsyslog is all good and is forwarding my events to the mysql database or any other destination as long as its "*", if I try to define a rule such as ; if $fromhost-ip isequal '192.168.1.128' then :ommysql:localhost,rsyslog_so,username,password It simply doesn't "divide" them into their diferent destinations. Is there any package underlying that is needed ?
