Primarily, the fix for the $HHOUR/$QHOUR bug I reported and you fixed last
month.

I'm using those properties for a "poor-man's log rotation", to balance the file
size vs. number of files. My other option would be to update my infrastructure
to use logrotate, but I'm a bit concerned about doing logrotate over cifs,
which is where I'm writing output files to. And, I'll need to update the
downstream dependencies to take into account the different rotation scheme.

I know that it's been in there for a long time, indicating that there's
probably not many people using those properties, but our current configuration
does. I'd love to get off 5.8.10, because there's been a ton of great work
between 5.x and 7.4, and because I'm seeing some unusual behavior with rsyslog,
but want to get on the latest version to see if it's resolved already before
debugging/raising issues.

Thanks again!
Robert
