Very strong agreement from me.
Even very large companies that are not in trouble may make decisions that
seriously hurt you, look at Google canceling Google Reader as an example.
If you aren't paying for a service, you aren't the main priority of that
service, and as such, you may loose that service (either completely, or it may
just become impractical due to changes)
