Ok. The new documentation current releases have been uploaded. You can view
them here:

http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v5-stable/index.html
http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v7-stable/index.html
http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v7-devel/index.html
http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v8-devel/index.html

Please remember that I have not yet merged the v7-devel documentation into
v7-stable to take into consideration the updated features from the release of
7.6.0.

However to get a view on the 'New style vs legacy' configuration for a module,
you should be able to see that here:
http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v7-devel/configuration/modules/imfile.html
(I just realized this one still has a little cleanup to do. I'll work on fixing
that, but until then you can get an idea for how the layout will look.)

Again, any feedback is extremely helpful. Take time to look through it and give
comments. Please know that there are a lot of formatting issues currently in
the documentation. Most of these are a direct result of running an autoamted
conversion program to convert HTML to ReST markup. These will get addressed as
we settle on formats for the various pages.

With that in mind please focus on the v5-stable and v7-devel imfile.html layout
and give thoughts and feedback. If everyone likes them I will get the rest of
the modules migrated to that format and updated for all versions them move to
the next item.

Again, if you see anything critical (Beyond formatting) like incorrect
documentations, incomplete items or even something you feel should be there
that isn't definitely open an issue in https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog-doc
so we can get it fixed. You can also submit PRs for specific fixes you see.
That is always welcome as well. :)

http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v5-stable/index.html

The new module format I'm playing with can be seen here:
http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/newdoc/v5-stable/configuration/modules/imfile.html

I wiill post a link to how the format loosk in the v7-stable version shortly
along with links to the root index for all of the versions once they are
uploaded.

I've dumped the current state of rsyslog-doc so you can easily see the
difference:

old: http://www.rsyslog.com/doc/imfile.html
new:
http://people.debian.org/~biebl/rsyslog-doc/configuration/modules/imfile.html

(Keep in mind that one is for v5 and the other is for v8)

It definitely looks better structured. Thanks for your work James!
