yeah, especially if you do it as a side-line. We considered creating a more
robust (and thus considerably more expensive) one, but only for support
contract customers. I kind of do *not* like this idea so much, but it may
be necessary. As I said in my other mail, we are also looking into
help/suggestions with other places. But there is so much todo and so little
time. So we would really need someone to actually do some work helping us
getting this done...
(as others mentioned) For ubuntu it would make sense to host it on
PPA on launchpad https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA, as far as I
can tell the setup is pretty easy and it even builds packages (for x86
and AMD64 architetures).
It's not same as having all repositories under one roof (it only
solves the problem for Ubuntu) but on the other hand it's simple and as
far as I can tell very stable (and free).
