Discussion is needed because after some brainstorming, I would like to suggest to supress the date format and to auto transform well known fields like timereported or time generated into ISODATE when om plugin is mongodb when a template is used. ....
We could try to also support string date conversion in some specific case and in this case add a isodate format in the template options.
