*I* don't need that feature. This feature is in Gentoo's default configuration since v5 (IMHO based on some Debian configuration). Not active, commented. Because I have completely rewritten [1] our old configuration [2] in new syntax/RainerScript (feedback is highly appreciated!) for the v7.6 bump I'd to test this feature ;) So if you decide to drop this feature that would be OK for me. At least I am not aware of any use case depending on that feature...
