I've already provided it in the OP
cat /etc/rsyslog.d/test.conf
input(type="imuxsock" Socket="/var/chroot/test/dev/log"
CreatePath="on")
if $programname == 'test' then {
action(type="omfile" sync="off" file="/var/log/test/test.log")
}
if $programname == 'test' then stop
Note - I've moved the module load
module(load="imuxsock")
to the main config file
