Wow, that's great news, thanks a lot! I have OpenSUSE 13.1 on my laptop and I noticed some time ago that I couldn't build rsyslog due to some json-c errors. At the time, I couldn't report the full details - feeling a little guilty for not reporting - but it's nice to know that it works again :)
