In the kerberos list we found the solution to this. It turned out that the file I was using was a replay cache file (http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/krb5-devel/doc/basic/rcache_def.html). So i tried with a true KRB5CCNAME file and used this in /etc/sysconfig/rsyslog KRB5CCNAME='FILE:/path/to//krb5_ccache'; export KRB5CCNAME withouth the export KRB5CCNAME it does not work.
