I forgot to mention: I am currently trying to setup an additional testbench
VM with centos 7 (to check for all that journal hell). Unfortunately, our
infrastructure VMWare version seems not to support this :-(

Nevertheless, I'll also try to setup a CENTOS6 and probably SuSe, so that
we get a couple of more distros where the testbench is automatically run. I
think this can be done with reasonable effor and helps a bit with
platform-specific problems.
