Ok.

I would suspect it would be. I'm using the repo RPMs now. I am not compiling 
myself now that Elasticsearch is one of the compiled RPMs so there isn't any 
unique compile time settings that I am adding.

I'll try to add all the details on how it manifests when I open the issue.
