Why were liblognormalize and mmnormalize not updated to release the new features
that are in the liblognormalize master? (specifically the descent feature, but
it looks like there are others there as well)
Is there a schedule for when an update will be made from those? If it's not
happening immediately I may try to get a couple new data types defined for ti.

Subject: [rsyslog] rsyslog 8.8.0 (v8-stable) released
We have released rsyslog 8.8.0.
This is primarily a bug-fixing release, which also includes a number of new
features focussed on practical issues and improvements in problem
diagnostics.
