Hello,

I've been experiencing some issues with disk queues similar to this
forum discussion:
http://kb.monitorware.com/error-when-rsyslog-dequeueing-queue-and-errors-restart-t12274.html

I'm running Rsyslog 8.11 master, which I build locally from git.

I'm still researching some other problems but the first oddity is I'm
seeing "DoDie called" printed inside the data file for the queue when
I stop rsyslog. I am running DebugLevel=2 (DEBUG_FULL).

In the function rsyslogdDoDie(), this die message is being written to
file descriptor 1. In the debug log, I also noticed that this queue
data file has a file descriptor of 1. I believe this extra text could
be the reason why I see objDeserialize errors when I start rsyslog
again.

Should that text be written to the queue data file? If not, any
recommendations for a fix?

Thanks,
Andy Ruch
