There are various suggestions/enhancements that come up related to rsyslog,
liblognorm, etc that are not big projects and would be good candidates for thing
to do for people interested in getting involved with development. I'd like to
suggest that we create a tag for these sorts of things in github and then have a
"if you want to get involved, look at these" sort of page somewhere that lists
them.
string generation module suggestions such as:
https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/327 or requests for new parsers in
liblognorm are good examples.
There was a request here a couple weeks ago to add gzip compression to
omelasticsearch, which could be a candidate for this sort of list.
