Ah, I see what is the cause of the problem: you have enabled REGEX support. We do strongly recommend not to do that, and I didn't test it in v2-experimental. But of course it should work in the v1 legacy stuff (v2 will at least initially not come with regex feature). I have now checked and fixed the issue. It was a left-over: https://github.com/rsyslog/liblognorm/commit/994b30cd0c767ea61ca84374b27e82624ca7d63e I still think it would be good to have Gentoo in the buildbot mix. So any recommendations would be appreciated.
