if you have write permission, you can write. No technical need for
review, all gentlemen's agreement. A couple of folks have write
permission, those that have proven to work well on the code. That's
also important if I become unavailable for whatever reason (bus...).

rsyslog-doc has this. PRs are usually applied very quickly. Radu also
has a keen eye on new additions.
