ahh, but if the disk (or your quota) fills up, then omfile isn't able to write the log out to disk, so you have the same problem.

you either allow sufficient space to allow you to survive a 'long enough' outage for you to get in and do something, or you don't.

If you are able to allocate enough space, then the queue can do the job.
