i have use rsyslog 8.27.0 to collect logs, follow is my environment info:
rsyslogd 8.27.0, compiled with:
PLATFORM: x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu
PLATFORM (lsb_release -d):

GSSAPI Kerberos 5 support: No
FEATURE_DEBUG (debug build, slow code): No
32bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
64bit Atomic operations supported: Yes
memory allocator: system default
Runtime Instrumentation (slow code): No
uuid support: Yes
Number of Bits in RainerScript integers: 64
, now i set a demo to collect logs use the imfile and omfile moudle in the same
machine，it does work, but rsyslogd -n is foreground .
when i use command 'service rsyslog start', it doesn't work, it can't read and
write logs, and i use the '/etc/init.d/rsyslog status' command ,
it pint this message:
