*Today, we release rsyslog 8.40.0.* This release brings a number of changes and fixes for e.g. the openssl driver, imfile, imsolaris and many more. This is also mostly a bugfixing release and not a hard requirement for rsyslog 8.40.0, but is recommended if you encounter reconnect issues And finally, we are now also providing packages for Ubuntu 18.10 and 19.04 for both the stable as well as the daily builds.
