Haproxy works a treat in front of rsyslog. I used to run pairs of dual primary
with a shared gfs2 filesystem.

Treat it like a tcp socket and you should be good to go.

Cheers,

Subject: [rsyslog] rsyslog in HA mode

Hi,

Does anyone configured rsyslog servers behind the load balancer?

Basically we like to put two linux rsyslog servers behind the F5 virtual server
to provide a HA solution.

Thanks,

-Ren
