I'm trying to install RT on a web host system where I don't have root
access (home machine might not be online all the time anymore). I've
got all the Perl modules installed, and RT is installed, but I've hit a
brick wall.

- I can't modify httpd.conf
- I can't set PerlHandler lines in .htaccess
- I can't seem to set any FastCGIServer or FastCGIExternalServer lines
in .htaccess

I'm not sure what to do from here. Is there some way I can modify RT so
that I can run it with FastCGI? Or am I just not going to get it to
run? I already use RT at work, which is one of the reasons I want to
set up a home copy of it.

Thanks!
