Fixed, on this Oracle 9.2.0.7.0, we had to create the following index
(don't know why the DisGrouMem index is not used :():

CREATE INDEX GemDisMem ON CachedGroupMembers
(Disabled, MemberId)
LOGGING
TABLESPACE USERS
PCTFREE    10
INITRANS   2
MAXTRANS   255
STORAGE    (
        INITIAL          64K
        MINEXTENTS       1
        MAXEXTENTS       2147483645
        PCTINCREASE      0
        BUFFER_POOL      DEFAULT
        )
NOPARALLEL;

with this, it's working fine :)

Note: I tested on a 10g database, the speed is ok without this index...
