I am currently experience a strange case where one of our users sporadically does not receive e-mail replies on a ticket.

This is accompanied by the line "(Will not be sent mail)" after their name when viewing the ticket.

This may be something obvious and I am just too tired to see it, but I can't for the life of me figure out why this is the case.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. A Google search did not yield much in the way of answers.
