They're linked via the Transactions table.
HOWEVER, we strongly recommend you use the RT API rather than write to
the SQL database directly. (If you do and don't get everything exactly
right, including groups, custom fields, ACLs and so forth, it's going to
be hard for anyone to help you fix things up later)
