[rt-users] RT 3.8.0 and LDAP hacks

I've hacked our RT to do LDAP authentication/authorization. One bit of what I did was based on Phillip Cole's hacks from http://rt.bestpractical.com/view/AutoCreateAndCanonicalizeUserInfo which includes a hack to the LoadByEmail subroutine found in CurrentUser.pm. I see that in 3.8.0, there no longer is a LoadByEmail subroutine in CurrentUser.pm. So, I'm wondering whether I'll need to continue to use my hacked CurrentUser_Local::LoadByEmail. I also have a hacked LoadByEmail in User_Local.pm. Any thoughts? Thanks.
