Hello, Thank you! That solved the problem. I don't know how I missed the --with-db-rt-host variable, but I removed everything I had done (except perl modules - I'm not that stupid!) and started with the configure statement again - this time using the above variable. Everything went tickety-boo. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't read closely enough and assumed I had the db host setting taken care of with the --with-db-host. Duh.
