the reason i notice the segfaults is because i have been tailf-ing /var/log/apache2/error_log 24/7 for over a week, so yes. :P could someone please point me in the right direction regarding obtaining a valid core dump from the segfault and performing a gdb backtrace on it to identify the source of the crashes? i'm mildly retarded when it comes to debugging/coding under linux. thanks. -gabe
