What I was thinking about doing was to have a Custom Field (let's call it "Program Id") that would contain the name of an object in a version control library and then have a URL for that CF that contains a shell that would evaluate the transaction type and CF value. In that evaluation it would either check out the object from the VC library (specified in the shell) and put it in a workarea. If it was a resolve, it would check it back in. Of course, this is just a preliminary idea. I have to flesh out the logistics, but I think it would work.
