Have you redefined @ActiveStatus in your config? You should have a clean /opt/rt3/etc/RT_Config.pm as installed by 3.8.8 and have local modifications in /opt/rt3/etc/RT_SiteConfig.pm If you copied anything form 3.6.1 you may have invalid settings there. -kevin
