Hi Everyone I wanted to enable searching of the contents of tickets in our running environment. >From the documentation it looks like you have to recompile MySQL from source >which just seems like a lot of work since the MySQL is used for other things >and is running correctly (Installed from RPM) I installed the RPM package of sphinx and was hoping there was a way to enable it as a plugin (which some people have mentioned as in this link http://inservio.ba/blog/en/27/04/2010/sphinx-and-sphinxse )
Is there a way to do this with Sphinx having been installed from RPM?
