VERY URGENT AND IMMEDIATE NEED Job Title: QA Engineer (Automated and Selenium Tester) Location: Mossville, IL Duration: 06+ Months Contract *Pay Rate: 30/hr* *Candidate Responsibilities* *Summary: * • Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable Caterpillar success. Education/Experience: • Computer-related or Engineering-related four-year College or University Degree (or equivalent). *• Eight to ten years progressively responsible IT job-related experiences. * *Skills and Competencies: * • Knowledge of the latest technology in programming languages, computing hardware and software and current development processes and tools. • Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications. *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: * • Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions. • Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components. • Working with vendors on the integration of purchased application(s) and/or infrastructure. • Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support. *Typical Day* • Core hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Candidate will be testing and validating applications. *Education Requirement* Computer-related or Engineering-related four-year College or University Degree (or equivalent). *Technical Skills* *Required: Automated testing and selenium testing. * *Desired: Scripting languages and Java Script. * *Soft Skills* Candidate will need be able to work in a team environment.
