*Below are the Position Details:* *Position: Business Analyst with **Healthcare* *Location: **Baltimore, MD / Washington, DC* *Duration: 6+ month contract * *Visa: GC or USC only* *End Client**: CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield* * HIGHLY PREFERRED - Information Security experience; Healthcare industry experience; Previous CareFirst BCBS experience* *Responsibilities* · Work within the Information Security (InfoSec) Department to perform analysis of needs, data gathering, conducting surveys, compilation of results, and discussions with relevant business areas on a variety of short-term projects. · Some of these projects will complete in 2018 but the majority will likely carry over into 2019. o For those that continue into 2019, the focus is to complete an analysis of needs and planning activities so that projects can rapidly launch in an implementation phase in 2019. · Sample projects involve assisting management and technical staff and project managers with: · Creation of an inventory characterizing the various elements and the nature of data connections with third party business partners. · Analysis of business requirements and needs for user groups requiring direct connectivity to server technology with the development of use cases to generate alternate connectivity solutions. · Analyzing &modeling categories of remote user workforce & evaluate security controls with this population. · Analyze database instances created by the business outside of IT to refine security and data use controls and governance standards. · Commence an evaluation of web portal identity controls & technologies in advance of full 2019 initiative. · Interview personnel to understand business requirements and drive the appropriate data solutions. · Development of surveys to poll user communities on use cases and needs. · Creation of PRDs (Project Requirements Documents) for complex endeavors including defining Business, User and functional and non-functional requirements. · Develop in conjunction with communication teams, organizational communication drafts to convey key project points to the internal community. · Comfortable with working with all resources ranging from executive management through staff level. *Required Skills* · Minimum 4 years of experience · Skilled at analyzing, defining, and interpreting business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the business areas and Security’s technical requirements. · Interview personnel to understand business requirements and drive the appropriate data solutions. · Experience with the development of surveys to poll user communities on use cases and needs. · Experience with the creation of PRDs (Project Requirements Documents) for complex endeavors including defining Business, User and functional and non-functional requirements. · Comfortable with working with all resources ranging from executive management through staff level. · Exceptional and proven track record of organization and detail orientation · Superior written and oral communication skills *Preferred Skills* · Information Security experience · Previous CareFirst BCBS experience · Previous healthcare industry experience *[email protected]* <[email protected]> *The best way to contact me is by email:* -- Regards, *Qamar **Bilal * Technical Recruiter *VERTEX CONSULTING INC.* www.thevertexgroup.com 935 N.
